Entry #1 My frist entry is a hole/cave in the ground by a boulder, and i pick this to my entry because it is the main topic in the frist chapter. Vocab Schoolyard- play ground. Occupied- to fill up or go to. Bined- to be joined or combined Refugee- to protect or shelter. Memling- protrails and dought's.
Entry #2 My second entry is a church school thats all the kids go to. Vocab Clever- smart Cautiously- to be aware of. Course- ruff or not smooth. Petrified- shocked/treified Journey- long expedition.
Entry #3 My third entry is Sister Gabriel, the children's teacher at their school in France. Vocab Reserve-to hold for reason. Glaring- an angry face or emotion. Noiseless- to not hear. Croak- a crack in one's voice Entry #4 My forth entry is a hat one of the boys lost running from the nazi soldiers. Vocab Coalshed- were coal is stored. Dash- to hurl, knock, or thrust with sudden violence. Odstinate- Stubbornly adhering to an attitude. Stricken- Affected by something overwhelming, such as disease, trouble, or painful emotion. Upon- Being the target of an action.
